Why we do this
Your group works hard to raise the money that fills its shoeboxes. Buying gifts a few at a time from the high street makes that money go nowhere near as far as it could.
So we buy the most popular shoebox items in bulk and pass on as much of the discount as we can. The same toys and school supplies that we buy to build the shoeboxes donated online, in packs sized for a packing party rather than a single box.
What you can order
Everything comes in packs of 50, so one pack fills fifty shoeboxes with that item. Prices are on the order form and are usually somewhere between 40p and £1.70 an item.
Personal care and school supplies
Hairbrushes, stationery sets and colouring pencils.
Fun toys
Dolls, skipping ropes, toy cars, yo-yos, dominoes, bouncing putty and new this year: tennis balls, four in a row game, DIY racing car kit and a soft dinosaur toy.
Preprinted shoeboxes
The proper OCC boxes, in packs of 5, 24, 50 or 100. Order these on their own if boxes are all you need.
Free with your order
A carton of Treasure Boxes
144 of them, 72 shark and 72 mermaid, free with every order however small.
Soft toys for larger orders
Fifteen Wild Republic plush birds for every £200 you spend on gifts. They've been donated to us, so we pass them straight on. Shoebox packs don't count toward the £200.
How it works
- Choose your items Pick your packs on the order form. The running total updates as you go, so you can order to a budget.
- Send us your details Tell us who you are and roughly when your packing party is, so we know when you need everything by.
- You pay and we confirm Pay online by credit or debit card and you'll get an email confirming what you've ordered.
- Collect your gifts Pick them up from our Coventry warehouse, or ask your Regional Manager to bring them to you.
Ordering in good time
Most packing parties happen in October and November, ahead of National Collection Week (9–16 November), so that's when demand is heaviest. Some items sold out last year and had to be reordered, which meant groups waiting.
If you already know roughly when your party is and what you'll need, ordering early is the surest way to get everything you've asked for.
